Cost and stability big salary sacrifice draws

Date: 08 March 2012   |   Author: Jack Carfrae

A survey by fleet management firm Zenith has shown cost savings and stable pricing to be the biggest draws for salary sacrifice schemes.

The firm claimed that 41% of drivers cited potential savings as the main attraction, followed by 31% who said the stability of fixed costs held the biggest appeal.

Choice of vehicles - namely low-emission models - flexibility and the fact that the scheme is open to more than just existing fleet car drivers were also named as incentives.

Zenith claims that the popularity of salary sacrifice schemes is increasing among its customers and said that it has a number of new schemes due to go live in the coming months.
