Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake to cost £50,000

Mercedes has announced pricing for the estate version of its four-door coupe CLS, the CLS Shooting Brake.
Starting from £49,360 for the entry-level CLS 250 CDI BlueEfficiency, prices rise to £83,030 for the CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake, a 5.5-litre turbocharged V8 petrol.
The fleet-friendly CLS 250 CDI BlueEfficiency has CO2 emissions of 139g/km and official fuel figures of 53.3mpg. Its more powerful diesel sibling, the CLS 350 CDI BlueEfficiency, costs £53,000 and offers 161g/km CO2 and 47.1mpg.
As standard, the car is fitted with a powered tailgate, satnav (250 CDI) or Mercedes multimedia system (350 CDI and CLS 63 AMG), DAB digital radio, leather upholstery, Parktronic front and rear parking sensors, metallic paint, Bi-xenon headlights and 18-inch alloy wheels.
Opt for the AMG Sport trim for £2995 extra and upgrades include full LED headlights with Intelligent Light System and Adaptive Highbeam Assist, AMG body kit, sports suspension and brakes, sports steering wheel, sports pedals and 19-inch AMG alloy wheels.
Available to order from September, first customer deliveries are expected in the UK in November.
