The start point for the best source of fleet information

Pendragon invests £1.2m in IT

Date: 27 June 2012   |   Author: Jack Carfrae

Pendragon Contracts, the contract hire division of motor group Pendragon PLC, has invested £1.2 million in upgrading its IT platforms.

The firm claims that the changes will make its online systems easier to use and more effective for fleet managers.

Pendragon also said the upgrades would result in what it describes as a "central touch-point" for users to view real-time data online. This will allow fleet operators to download management information on drivers, spend, P11D details and mileage projection for reports and forecasting purposes.

Neal Francis, managing director of Pendragon Contracts, said: "We are constantly reviewing our systems and processes to ensure our communication and reporting to clients is as effective as possible.

"This substantial investment will ensure that our IT infrastructure plays a significant part in supporting our dedicated account management team and means customers and their drivers are assisted every step of the way."
