The start point for the best source of fleet information

City of London Police buys Jaama Key2 software

Date: 04 June 2013   |   Author: Jack Carfrae

The City of London Police force has bought into Jaama's Key2 fleet management system. The force, which operates a fleet of around 100 vehicles - comprising blue light cars, unmarked vehicles, motorbikes, public order vans, a horse box, mobile prison cells, dog vehicles and armed response units - and polices the capital's Square Mile, joins the British Transport Police as another blue light user of the software.

It decided to implement the system after outsourcing its SMR work to Enterprise Management Services, which also uses Key2.

Arend Mouton, the force's fleet manager, said: "Key2 will enable the force to have all information relating to vehicles and drivers in one place. That will result in improved management reporting and we hope result in significant operating cost savings."
