Skoda Yeti crossover facelift unveiled

Date: 22 August 2013   |   Author: Jack Carfrae

The facelifted Skoda Yeti will emit 119g/km in its lowest emitting 1.6 TDI Greenline guise

Skoda has revealed a facelifted version of the Yeti crossover.

The biggest change involves mild styling revisions at the front end and the fact that there are now two versions - one aimed at urban drivers, the other a more rugged variant. Styling elements such as the bumpers, undertray and wheelarches vary between the two styles.

The firm hasn't moved the emissions game along with the new model, as the cleanest 1.6 TDI Greenline variant remains at 119g/km with 61mpg - identical to that of the outgoing model.

Four diesel engines and three petrol engines will be available, as will front- and four-wheel drive along with manual and DSG automatic transmissions.

A rear-view camera will also be a new addition when the Yeti goes on sale early in 2014.
