New flexi-lease firm launches

Date: 01 May 2014

A new Yorkshire-based leasing firm has claimed it will "change the confusing and inflexible industry for the better", offering leasing deals of between 28 days and 12 months.

"Car leasing contracts are up there with gym memberships for rigid deals that are impossible to cancel," said co-founder of Flexed.co.uk Mark Hall.

"Virtually every company has a tale of vehicle leasing woe. Unwanted car and vans sitting in the car park because the leasing company is - and we're going to call them out - too greedy to let them cancel the deal."

The company claimed customers won't be tied into long-term deals and won't be asked to pay up-front charges, and pledged that it will be cheaper than using a rental firm while offering "top-spec cars at low prices".
