The start point for the best source of fleet information

Plugged-In Fleets Initiative still available - but not for long

Date: 25 February 2014

The Energy Saving Trust still has a small number of places available to fleets for its 2013/2014 Plugged-in-Fleets Initiative. The project involves a free report by the organisation to fully assess the real-world feasibility and potential cost savings (or penalties) of a fleet adopting electric vehicles.

The EST's fleet consultant Karl Anders said: "The only bit you need to do is get the pricing information and vehicle data over to us. It won't cost you anything. But don't wait too long."

The cut-off point is the end of this financial year, so both Anders and the Office for Low Emission Vehicle's head of consumer initiatives Anna West urged firms to make arrangements as soon as possible if they wanted to take part.

West added that the Government was "currently exploring options for a new phase of the PIFI initiative" for the 2014/2015 financial year.
