Volkswagen seals Yorkshire vehicle supply deal

Date: 01 May 2014

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is set to supply 360 light vans and pick-ups to the Wakefield and District Housing Association between now and the end of the year.

The vehicles will be used by property maintenance staff, including ground staff, plumbers, builders and electricians.

Light commercials purchased included Caddy and Caddy Maxi vans, short and long-wheelbase Transporters and larger Crafter models, including specially converted dropside pick-ups.

Delivery of the first 119 vehicles runs from July to September, with the a further 126 arriving between September and the end of 2013.
