Membership of the BVRLA has reached a 10-year high after the trade body welcomed 73 members onto its books in the first half of the year.
The association's membership has now exceeded 750 members and part of the growth is down to the strengthening economy and an increase in the number of people renting vehicles.
"We are delighted to welcome all these members into the association and look forward to working with them in the future," said BVRLA chief executive, Gerry Keaney. "They have chosen to be part of a vibrant, collaborative trade body that promotes best practice and campaigns on behalf of the industry and its customers. We know they will wear the logo with pride."
