Tesla launches PCP option for Model S

Date: 28 January 2016   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Tesla has introduced a PCP option for the BusinessCar Luxury Car of the Year, the Model S.

The American company has launched its own in-house finance option - Tesla PCP - with monthly payments starting at £404 a month for the entry-level 70D model.

Tesla claims that once fuel and road tax savings are taken into account, this figure equates to £296/month when compared with an internal combustion-engined car.

Monthly payments can be further reduced by taking a deposit of more than £2000 up to a maximum of 30%, Tesla said.

Tesla offers two and thre-year PCP schemnes, which opens the Model S up to a wider audience, the manufacturer claims.

In addition to Tesla PCP, it has a variety of financing options available including a hire purchase programme on the Model S that starts at £600 per month. After fuel savings, this is the equivalent of £492 per month, Tesla claims.
