Being a bit of a music and podcast fan, I'm pleased with the intuitive way my fruit-based music device connects to the Audi's audio system.

At £260 for the Audi Music Interface, it should be pretty good, but the logical way the car's MMI rotating dial navigates through the menus is pleasing, if expensive.

My praising of the system did, though, irritate two colleagues, whose own fruit-based music players won't connect to the car. They've both received the message that their device is not recognised by the system, so have not been able to sample how simple and useful the connectivity is.
