The start point for the best source of fleet information

Our Fleet Test Drive: BMW 330d Touring Luxury Auto - 7th Report

Date: 10 December 2013   |   Author:

It's a horrendously expensive extra at £800 but my 330d's head-up display is a great option in terms of safety and convenience.

It projects speed and satnav information into the driver's eye line, meaning there's no need to take your eyes off the road, which is especially useful in the case of the navigation directions.

I'm less enamored with the media system, having gripes with both the clarity of the mapping on the nav screen and, until recently, the audio connectivity for my iPhone, only for the latter point to recently be solved.

More in the next full report.

Verdict

  • Performance and efficiency combination
  • Navigation mapping could be clearer
