Our Fleet Test Drive: Kia Ceed - 4th Report

Date: 23 January 2014   |   Author: Hugh Hunston

P11D: £21,040

'Fleet' is a word justifiably peppered throughout Ceed SW press material.

You can have any kind of engine as long as it's diesel, and our 126hp 1.6-litre variant boasts a 116g/km CO2 rating, 17% BIK and 64.2mpg, as well as a seven-year 100,000-mile warranty.

It also costs some £1200 less than an equivalent Titanium Ford Focus with ample level 3 trim standard kit.

Real-world economy and official figures rarely if ever tally but 611 miles after the previous tank-brimming our Ceed swallowed 10.3 gallons, ergo 59.3mpg, gladdening corporate number crunchers' hearts.
