Seven-up Subaru estate could come to Europe

Date: 29 October 2007   |   Author: Guy Bird

Subaru could have a new flagship model for Europe by 2010 looking very similar to the Exiga concept unveiled at the Tokyo motor show.

The seven-seat estate goes on sale in Japan in mid-2008 and Subaru's European distributors - including the UK's IM Group - are being consulted on whether they want to take the model to sit above the Legacy. Initial reaction has been positive but a diesel-engined version would help seal the deal. The car could then replace the Tribeca as Subaru's UK flagship model.
