Car Agency CO2 drops

Date: 05 January 2010   |   Author: Tristan Young

With pressure on all Government departments to lower their car fleet emissions the Government Car and Despatch Agency has revealed the average CO2 emissions for cars added to the fleet in the past 12 months was 142.1g/km.

The answer came from transport minister Paul Clark following a written Parliamentary question from Conservative Charles Hendry, shadow energy minister.

The Hansard answer did not reveal what the total GCDA CO2 average was.
