Date: 30 September 2010

Renault has revealed pictures of its Zoe Preview car, the near-production version of the Zoe ZE, the electric-powered supermini that the French firm is predicting will be the biggest-selling of its four launch EVs.

Due to be unveiled at the Paris motor show later this week, before he final production version is on sale in just under two years, the Zoe will have a range of around 100 miles and a top speed of 80mph.

"Zoe is where we've got the biggest volume ambition," said Andy Heiron, head of Renault UK's electric vehicle programme.

Also revealed is the production version of the Twizy Quadricycle, which will be priced at around £4000. The two models join the EV Kangoo van, being launched next summer, and the Megane saloon-styled Fluence ZE, coming alongside the Twizy in early 2012.
