The start point for the best source of fleet information

Chevin signs deal with Copart

Date: 18 January 2011

Chevin Fleet Solutions has signed a deal with international online vehicle auctioneer Copart to manage its 140-strong UK vehicle fleet.

It will use Chevin's web-based FleetWave fleet and asset management system to track its UK support vehicles, including car transporters, JCB Loaders and Fork lift trucks.

Copart group transport manager Shane Webb said: "We were attracted to FleetWave because of its flexibility and scalability, as well as the ongoing support offered by Chevin. We can add and remove modules easily, and the dashboard and alerts system is great for keeping an eye on things like Road Fund Licence, maintenance and PCNs."

The firm said that its web-based FleetWave system will be accessible from every Copart facility with the information any individual sees automatically managed by access control at the login stage. This will ensure that only the most relevant data is presented to the person using the system.
