Seat appoints new fleet boss

Date: 17 January 2014

Seat has appointed Peter McDonald as its new fleet boss.

He succeeds the outgoing head of fleet and business sales, Steve Robertson, who has left the firm after two years in the role.

McDonald has been in charge of planning and supply at Seat since 2009, before which he worked for Seat's parent firm, the Volkswagen Group, in the UK and China.

VW Group has also appointed Paul Willis as its new MD. This follows the departure of Paul Willcox, who has left the firm to become chairman of Nissan Europe.

Meanwhile, Kia has announced that Mark Hopkins, formerly of VW Commercial Vehicles, is its new marketing director.
