Engineering firm takes on 60th Toyota Hilux

Date: 24 March 2016   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Civil engineering firm M J Church has taken on its 60th Toyota Hilux pick-up within two years.

The firm's fleet is exclusively made up of Hilux models, and they are used by its staff to move between locations to carry out engineering, earthworks and waste management work.

"We're extremely pleased with our evolving relationship with Toyota. We've used other manufacturers' pick-ups in the past but have come up against a number of reliability issues," said Tom Church, company director.  "We chose Hilux instead as it has a great reputation within our industry. It also has good whole life costs, while still ticking all of the boxes for the requirements of our business."

"We've been running Hilux vehicles for the past couple of years with no issues and we look forward to continuing to run them for the foreseeable future," he added.
