Kia has announced UK specs and prices for its updated Sorento large SUV, which is available to order now.

The facelifted model features styling tweaks inspired by Kia's EV9, while the interior has also been changed to more closely resemble the brand's newer SUV models.

It is being made available with a choice of 2, 3, and 4 equipment grades, each with a choice of 190hp diesel, 212hp hybrid, or 249hp plug-in hybrid powertrains, and all with seven seats as standard.

With the entry-level 2 grade, standard features include 17in alloy wheels (19in with plug-in hybrid), automatic LED lights, electrically folding, adjustable and heated door mirrors, dual automatic and rear air conditioning, heated front seats, a heated artificial leather steering wheel, six USB-C charge ports, a 12.3in infotainment touchscreen, a 4in driver display screen, sat-nav, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity, smart cruise control with stop and go functionality, front and rear parking sensors, and a reversing camera.

Standard safety systems include a multi-collision braking system, lane keep and lane follow assist, forward collision avoidance assist, and highway driving assist.

Further equipment with the 3 grade includes 19in alloy wheels, LED 'four cube' headlights with low-beam assist, privacy glass, black leather upholstery, power adjustable front seats, driver's seat electric lumbar support, outer second row heated seats, a height-adjustable smart power tailgate, a 12.3in driver display screen, a Bose premium sound system, wireless smartphone charging, a blindspot view monitor, a 360-degree camera system, enhanced forward collision avoidance assist, blindspot collision avoidance assist with rear cross-traffic alert, parking collision avoidance assist, enhanced highway driving assist, and rear self-levelling suspension.

Further features of the 4 grade include a panoramic sunroof, driver's seat with memory function, ventilated front seats, a head-up display, and remote smart park assist.

Range prices start at £41,995, for a 2 diesel, which Kia says is £3,030 cheaper than the pre-facelift model, and rise as high as £55,995 for a 4 plug-in hybrid.
