Our Fleet Test Drive: Mazda 6 - 2nd report

Date: 09 May 2008   |   Author: Tony Rock

Lights

The headlights on our Mazda 6 are permanently on - even when the control stalk is set to 'off'. They don't take much notice of bright sunlight, either, and remain on in the 'auto' position.

And no, they're not designed to be daylight running lights like those found on Volvos. One thing they do correctly, however, is turn off when the sidelights are selected.

We took it to the local Mazda dealer, T W White's in Orpington, Kent, to get it checked out. We'll let you know next time the results of their diagnostics check.
