Just as I thought we'd have a winter with no snow I awoke to find the ground covered in the white stuff - the perfect chance to test the Michelin winter tyres on my long-term 508.
Winter tyres are better in the wet and cold, but it's in the snow when they really come into their own and keep you moving (or indeed stopped) when others can't. In this case, they meant the front-drive Peugeot was able to join the four-wheel drives in a snowy car park at the top of a hill where I could take my kids sledging. It may not have been a business trip, but I still took the business of sledging seriously.
