Equity Red Star launches SME insurance policy

Insurance firm Equity Red Star has launched a policy specifically designed to cover fleets running between two and 10 cars or commercial vehicles.
Known as SME Protect, the new scheme will supplement the firm's existing Fleetsure policy, which covers businesses operating upwards of 10 vehicles and has itself been altered with the intention of making the limits of cover clearer to customers.
Mark Bacon, active underwriter at Equity Red Star, said: "As a small business owner you will have the ability to insure all your vehicles under one policy, which gives the benefit of blanket certificates, one overall fleet-rated premium and wider policy cover."
