ACFO Conference 2013: ACFO announces healthy finances

ACFO's retiring finance director Brian Ingham has left the association's finances in healthy order, according to the latest accounts revealed at the AGM.
What was a £12,000 deficit two years ago has turned into a £25,000 surplus, mainly thanks to the success of ACFO's events, most notably the annual awards evening held in November.
"Two years ago we had a sharp wake-up call and couldn't rely on some of our income streams," said chairman Julie Jenner, commenting on the change in fortunes.
