Hitachi commences work on new site

Date: 19 June 2013   |   Author: Jack Carfrae

Leasing firm Hitachi Capital has begun work on its new premises at White Horse Business Park Trowbridge, Wiltshire. The company, which is already based locally to the forthcoming site, has commissioned new low-rise offices, which are said to be more environmentally friendly.

They are due to be completed and operational in July 2014. The move is designed to improve working conditions at the firm.

Managing director Jon Lawes said: "The new office building in Trowbridge represents a significant milestone in our history as it is the first time that Hitachi Capital have purchased the freehold for office space anywhere in the world.

"Such a move demonstrates a positive investment and a dedication to the future of our presence and operations in Trowbridge."
