I love discovering little bits and pieces that make the E-class easy to live with, and I reckon Mercedes has engineered in more than any other carmaker.

The latest one is that annoyance only experienced when you've had a couple of tall passengers that have moved the rear headrests. When they've got out, you're left with the headrests poking up, blocking the rear view.

Not in the E-class, where a prod of the button in the middle of the dashboard drops all three rear headrests to their lowest position. Simple, yet really useful.
