Our Fleet Test Drive: Vauxhall Zafira - 9th Report

Date: 19 December 2013   |   Author: Tony Rock

One of the lowest emitting in our range
P11D: £22,020

At 119g/km, the engine in our (take a deep breath) diesel 128hp Zafira Tourer Tech Line Ecoflex Start/Stop model is the lowest-emitting in the range.

But how does it compare with other seven-seat people carriers?

Two more powerful 138hp models, the Ford Grand C-max and VW Touran, emit 139g/km (53.3mpg versus our car's 62.8mpg) and 140g/km (also 53.3mpg) respectively.

Less powerful is the 122hp Toyota Verso (129g/km and 57.6mpg). Renault's Grand Scenic, is similarly powered to the Vauxhall, yet beats it for emissions (114g/km) and economy (64.2mpg).
