Our Fleet Test Drive: Volvo V40 - 7th Report

One of my few complaints about the V40 is the fact that the satnav system only has five-digit postcode entry - not the full seven digits.

Plenty of other cars and manufacturers still suffer from it, and it seems to be a due to postcodes being shorter in many countries, so unless you know the name of the exact road you're heading to (and I usually don't if I'm using satnav), you'll only get to the general area, rather than exactly where you want to.

I've never got my head around why manufacturers haven't wised-up to this yet in the UK.
