The start point for the best source of fleet information

Rotherham Council do Citroen deal with Translinc

Date: 05 March 2010

Local authority fleet provider Translinc has supplied Rotherham Council with 15 Citroen C1 1.4HDi hatchbacks.

The cars will be used by the council's domiciliary care teams and mean that employees will no longer be using their own cars or short-term hire vehicles for work purposes.

The new fleet also enables the council to operate a single-fuel policy, monitor vehicle usage and maintenance better and cut operating costs.

Translinc said the Citroens were chosen for their low purchase price and running costs.

"Rotherham Council wanted a sole marque fleet and were particularly impressed with the 1.4 HDi diesel model's fuel economy," it said.
