Cab firm Addison Lee signs fleet contract with Ford

Date: 16 May 2012   |   Author: Jack Carfrae

London minicab firm Addison Lee has signed a two-year contract with Ford that will see the Blue Oval cut emissions by providing it with up to 3000 Galaxy MPVs throughout the term of the contract, equating to up to 50 new Fords joining the firm each week.

The company has only ever previously signed single-year contracts and the addition of the Galaxys is expected to improve the overall emissions and fuel economy of its fleet.

Liam Griffin, Addison Lee's managing director, said: "Ford's cleaner, more efficient engines have also contributed towards Addison Lee reducing CO2 emissions across our entire fleet by 10% last year."
