The start point for the best source of fleet information

Jaama offers free licence checks

Date: 18 June 2012   |   Author: Rachel Burgess

Free driving licence checks are being offered to fleets that buy Jaama's Key2 Vehicle Management software before 31 August 2012.

Each business purchasing a Key2 system will receive 50 complementary licence verification checks with the DVLA.

The free checks are through Jaama's electronic driver entitlement checking service (EDECS), a risk management tool and a driver information portal within its Key2 system.

Sales and operations director Martin Evans said: "Driver licence checking should be a vital component of every company's occupational road risk management policy.

"Current DVLA rules mean that the only option to ensure compliance is to undertake driving licence checks every four weeks."

He added: "Our driver licence checking service means that not only is the administrative burden completely removed from customers, but they will have all information on drivers and their vehicles held in one central database, building a combined intelligent profile and highlighting exceptions."
