Date: 07 August 2023   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Mercedes-Benz has named Ohme as a home EV charging partner in the UK.

The agreement will see Mercedes recommend Ohme chargers to customers who need a home charging solution, with Ohme Home Pro chargers also available in Mercedes showrooms for customers to view.

Mercedes said the agreement would run alongside an existing partnership with Pod Point.

Mercedes-Benz head of product and planning Jason Allbutt said: "We are delighted to announce that we will be partnering with Ohme as our recommended home charger supplier.

"Ohme's technological innovation and excellent approach towards customer service and professionalism align with the core values and culture of Mercedes-Benz."

Ohme CEO David Watson said: "Mercedes-Benz has one of the strongest premium line-ups of electric vehicles. This collaboration with Mercedes-Benz underlines Ohme's position as one of the UK's fastest-growing and most dynamic smart charging companies in the UK.

"We're looking forward to introducing Mercedes-Benz customers to the benefits of smart charging and supporting its network of agents."
