Although it wasn't the most dramatic of facelifts, BMW used last year's mid-life refresh on the 3-series to introduce a little extra styling that really enhances the looks.
Those creases down the bonnet are new, adding an air of aggression set off neatly against the M Sport bodykit, which around 80% of 330d buyers are choosing. I'm not surprised it's that high because it only adds to the massive affection that's growing for this car.
And we needn't have worried that prolonged exposure to the 330d might reveal flaws to taint our early view that this is the best all-round business car on offer because no problems have yet surfaced.
