Fiat Bravo pricing undercuts main rivals

Fiat's new Bravo, set to compete head-to-head with the likes of Ford's Focus and Vauxhall's Astra, will go on sale on 30 June priced from £10,995.
The entry-level 1.4-litre petrol Bravo comes equipped with remote central locking, powered front windows and mirrors, four airbags and a CD stereo.
The 1.4 Active - expected to be the most popular petrol and which costs £11,795 - adds body-coloured door handles and mirrors, aircon, front fog lights and a third rear head restraint. Residual value expert CAP expects the model to retain a competitive 31% of its value after three years/60,000 miles. CAP reckons the most popular diesel, the 120PS 1.9-litre Dynamic model costing £14,395, to retain 32%. Dynamic trim comes with chrome door handles, alloys, rear electric windows, driver lumbar support, front arm rest, cruise control and Bluetooth with USB connection.
Buyers will have to opt for the top-level Sport trim to find anti-skid control as standard. Anti-skid control is a £350 option on all but the entry-level Bravo.
