The BusinessCar Techies are back for 2015 and entries are now invited for the contest to find the best and most innovative solutions available in the market that help UK fleets with their daily operations.
The only dedicated technology awards for the fleet industry are now in their seventh year and they recognise the modern systems and processes that impact every area of business car operators' daily lives, whether that be apps, fleet management, remarketing, daily rental, telematics or maintenance.
A total of 10 categories will be assessed, the full list of which can be seen in the table to the left. The complete lowdown on past winners, their products and why they won, along with those highly commended, can be found here.
If you're a car manufacturer, supplier to the fleet industry or fleet operator and you feel a particularly clever piece of kit deserves recognition, then let us know why you're at the cutting edge of what you do. But, as always, we love to hear from the industry at large about which products, services and initiatives are helping make managing a fleet cleaner, cheaper, greener or just basically easier.
The awards will be judged by BusinessCar's expert editorial panel with decades of industry experience behind them. Their decisions ensure that the results highlight the things that really make a difference to the fleet community.
We feel the evolving categories reflect the way in which the industry is heading and there is also an Editor's Choice Award for an entry which deserves special recognition.
To enter the awards, send an email with the subject line 'Techies' to editorial@businesscar.co.uk and include a description of no more than 300 words of your organisation's product, service or piece of technology.
The closing date for entries is 5pm on 1 July 2015, and winners will be announced in BusinessCar's 25 August issue and simultaneously at www.businesscar.co.uk
