Peugeot plans new model sales growth

Date: 08 January 2010

Peugeot is planning to launch 14 new models in the next few years in a bid to move three places up the world car-maker ranking.

Peugeot currently sits at number 10 (by volume) in the list of world car-makers and hopes to jump to number seven by 2015.

The move will be powered by a new logo and 14 new models by 2012. The move comes a year after sister firm Citroen went through a similar exercise.

At the announcement in Paris today, the firm also revealed a new sports car concept to illustrate future Peugeot styling.

  • BusinessCar will bring you a full report on today's event, next week.
