The start point for the best source of fleet information |
Vauxhall's all-new Insignia, which replaces the Vectra, will go on sale priced from £15,935 for the 140PS 1.8 petrol Exclusiv model and from £16,935 for the 130PS 2.0-litre diesel Exclusiv.
These prices undercut the equivalent Ford Mondeos which cost £16,395 and £17,495 respectively.
The UK will have a choice of five engines from launch consisting of three petrol and two diesel units.
Standard kit on the Exclusiv trim includes anti-skid control, auto headlights, part-powered driver's seat, cruise control, aircon and six airbags.
The 130PS diesel, expected to be the biggest business seller, has a CO2 output of 154g/km, putting it in the 21% benefit-in-kind tax band - one tax band higher than the equivalent Mondeo. The same engine also comes in at 48.7mpg for the official combined fuel consumption.
